  1. This article gives a perspective on the effectiveness of NAGPRA by detailing the responsibilities of the NAGPRA Review Committee and its successes and failures in the implementation of the act over the past 20 years. The Review Committee is a an amalgamation of Indian Tribal leaders, museum professionals and scientists and the paper gives an inside view of how the NAGPRA act works and is an invaluable resource for my research proposal.
